The criminal was pregnant, the cops bullet endangered the pregnancy, the doctor had to abort the pregnancy, so the doctor was charged with assisting a abortion. Some states have some crazy laws.
I thought that was gonna be a set up to "The doctor says I can't operate on this boy, he's my son" etc.
Next time he'll know better. Oh wait...

I thought it was that they charged the criminal with death, so the doctor was mad that they undid his work, so to speak
Police officer shoots and kills an innocent man.
Doctor charges his family $10,000 to give the body an ambulance ride to the morgue.
Court puts the officer on paid leave for six months.

Cops shoot suspects and innocent people, not convicted criminals, typically.
