About that frog wallet... A similar one also appears in Naruto, where the titular MC owns one.

Apparently it's a Japanese superstition to keep an origami frog or small frog figurine in your wallet, because the Japanese word for frog, "kaeru" also means "to return".

So it's a prayer that the money in your wallet will return to fill it up again...

Apparently Okinawans and others still make pouches from frogs and toads.
