About time.

I thought the hesitance was ridiculous from the moment the war began, and I'm not a warmonger or anything.

edit: Heck, if they had a referrendum in the US for it, I'd vote to send F-22s.

F-22A + F15E + F16C could make a pretty deadly combo.

You got the F-22 for air superiority, and air cover. Or use its stealth to strike russian fighters and bombers that are in russia.

The F-15E can be used for ground attack, or even close air support. It could also be used as backup for the F-16's if they get overwhelmed.

The F16C being a multi role fighter could do a lot of these things, not as well as their dedicated platforms but still preform well. Not to forget the F16 is superior in SEAD.

It's a fantasy for sure, as I can't imagine what kind of training/infrastructure the F-22 needs, even if the US gets over its fear one one being shot down and salvaged.

But yeah, gettin air superiority and making use of it would be incredible.

Isn’t there fewer than 200 F-22s in existence?

Yeah, and mind as well put them some to use before they're obsolete, doing exactly what they were built to do: defend NATO airspace.
