Hey all. One of the best features of 3rd party reddit apps was hiding the post once you viewed or scrolled past so that you wouldn't see the same post each time you open the app/site. I believe this one done via the hide post feature via 3rd party apps. Does Lemmy support anything like this? Thanks!

Yes, in user settings, you can uncheck "show read posts". This will apply everywhere. Jerboa, the website, communities, etc.

I'm on jerboa idk if it's universal, but ye in the settings>account settings>show read posts

Uncheck it and it should be Gucci

I wish this could be more selective. I like to keep some read posts still around to check for later comments. But others I would hide quickly if I could.

Follow up question: any chance there is a "hide downvoted posts" variant? I used that one a lot on RiF
