Plenty of people still using a 1070 and finding it perfectly adequate for their needs

Pretty good in an absolute sense, and closing the gap compared dGPUs on a relative basis.

~5-7 years ago even the most high end iGPU was basically unusable for even light 3D applications.

What a weird metric. It's 15% slower than a 5 year old entry level discrete laptop GPU or about as fast as an 8 year old midrange laptop GPU. This bad boy can go as fast as a three legged horse named Bill after snorting some carrot dust.

Fuck. I was so hyped, when I got my 660Ti.
