Saying that anarchism counts as a leftist "theory of everything" is a great way of causing the exact opposite of "leftist solidarity."

The fact that the anarchist critique of hierarchy is the most radical of leftist traditions to emerge from within the imperial core itself - which, btw, also makes it the most robust - is quite immaterial when it comes to "leftist solidarity."

Anarchism is a leftist theory of everything because it is radical. It's easy to just be a socialist, and to not be a feminist or a queer ally or a supporter of indigenous sovereignty. And it's easy to be a feminist without being a socialist, queer ally, or supporter of indigenous sovereignty. And all the other permutations too. But anarchism, as a political lens, points us towards all of these different struggles and says they are the same. I am not wholly convinced anarchism is the only leftist theory of everything, but I have yet to see an alternative. Rather, I see dozens of alternatives within anarchism, such as soulism, transhumanism, mutualism, and so forth.

An anarchist has solidarity with all of the leftist movements, works together with all of them. If one wishes to run any sort of leftist political movement while maintaining alliance with the entirety of the left, I believe explicitly endorsing anarchism is a good way to get that done, from a practical point of view. After all, the nazis went after the communists before the socialists, because communism is stateless and is therefore aligned with anarchism. The nazis knew that the non-communist socialists, who support the existence of the state, would not offer as much resistance as the communists to the attacking of other leftist groups.

Liberty Hub: A Space for Leftists and Post-Leftists

Anyone is welcome, not just leftists, but these are the guidelines:

  1. No oppressing other users (bigotry is oppression). This includes not using the r-slur (or any variation thereof).
  2. No defending oppressive systems such as capitalism or the US "democracy."
  3. No uncivil or rude comments to other users (politicians and capitalists are fair game).
  4. No ax murderers, serial killers, neoliberals, torturers, cops, cryptobros, debatebros, or similar.
  5. Discussion, not debate. It's okay to ask someone to elaborate on an idea, but most communities shout down leftists and post-leftists, and that's not supposed to happen here. This includes especially "whatabout Trump" on posts criticizing Biden.
  6. No genocide denial or support for genocidal entities such as IDF, ICE, the US prison system, or likewise.
  7. Transphobes eat my ass.
  8. These guidelines are meant to allow open discussion and prevent the constant trolling of leftists and post-leftists that happens in places like reddit and Facebook. Follow the spirit of these guidelines.

If you are here to learn, then welcome! Remember this is not a debate hub. This is a place to share and learn.

Other than that, feel free to share memes, text posts, articles, or other things you find edifying and helpful.

The main reason I started this is because I know it's hard to have a discussion in non-leftist spaces without constantly having to stop and explain fundamental ideas, so I hope this will give a space and a voice to anyone who's felt frustrated like me.
