Wagner PMC mercenary Denis Kuzmin was headed home to Omsk across Russia but stopped in Moscow and hired prostitutes in a banya (sauna). After he passed out, the prostitutes stole 790,000 rubles ($8,500) in cash, his entire salary for serving in Ukraine for 6 months.

$8500? That's his entire salary for risking death for 6 months in a mercenary group? That sounds like a terrible deal.

Cost of living is way different.

$8,500 could keep someone comfortable for a year if they're careful.

Obviously this guy is not careful.

Brah still high chance of getting killed for 6 months only gets you 1 year worth of frugal living... Miss me with that shit

It's not a small amount in Russia outside of Moscow. It's just an average salary in Moscow thought (middle class management).

Yeah, even just risking own life for that pay... Idk how deranged a human being have to be to do such a thing. Like jobs with high risks are fine with a good salary but going on a war and making this little is just beyond my understanding.
