I like Beretta, my first gun was a 92fs, but that doesn't look "compact", does it? Maybe it's the optics on it.

I mean, I'm sure it's a good, reliable firearm. But I'd never consider it for compact concealed carry. Ruger Max 9? SR40c?

Sizewise, the Storm is comparable to a Glock 19, which is technically a compact model.

Original Storm Compact vs Glock 19 picture for reference.

I personally do think it's quite large. I think "pocket pistols" are a more practical size for 24/7 carry. I do know some people who manage to lug around Glock 19s or even full metal guns in the same size range. I guess it all comes down to trading off shootability vs easy of conceal/comfort. For me, I take note that most people I know IRL who start off in the full size or even "compact" size either eventually switch to a "pocket pistol" or they get lazy about carrying. There are a few hardcore holdouts who do carry bigger stuff, so I suppose it takes knowing if you're the type to actually carry it or not.

It does look better without the optic...

The one in the article also has a flared magwell for some inexplicable reason on a supposed CCW.

Yeah, when they stood it on it's nose I was like... er... em...

It looks like a brick.

People that have a PX4 seem to love them. I still think it's ugly as shit.

That's literally my only complaint.

If it's reliable, and accurate enough for A-zone hits at 20y, then that's definitely good enough.
