Help with mixed DPI (self.gnome)

I have one 27in 5k monitor and one 24in 1080p monitor. When I try to change the dpi for one, the other changes with it. Is this the intended behavior? Do I need to fiddle with xrandr? Do we still use xrandr on Wayland?
