A couple weeks back a person on twitter said she would rather spend time in the woods with a wild bear than a man. She then followed up be saying she had many DMs from men saying why she would be safe with them instead of the bear not realising those are the reasons she prefers the bear.

That's an overly kind way of summarising the DMs she got. What she got, was indignant and angry men, DMing her to abuse her, whilst insisting that she'd be safer with them than the bear.

I don't recall any specifics she said about the DMs which is why I said it that way.

A tiktok asked a bunch of women if they would rather run into a random bear when alone in the woods, or a random man.

Most chose the bear. And when it came up for mocking, most women online, irl, in general when asked also said they chose the bear. It's a sad reflection on learned experience of anticipated violence so of course Certain Men lost. Their. Shit. at the mere thought exercise and inadvertently proved why women choose the fucking bear

Alone in the woods Women feel safer with a bear than a man. Pretty much the gist of it.
