"We hate you as a person, but your money is still good "

Republicans are so fucking weird. Trump’s disgraced third hooker wife has to host a fundraiser while her husband is being tried for committing criminal fraud while bribing a porn so they can collect campaign contributions from a group of people that the Republican Party intends to legislate out of existence.

Back in the day, a young Donald Trump was mentored in New York politics by the legendary Roy Cohn. Cohn had been Joe McCarthy's righthand man during the 1950s and had carved out a reputation as one of the meanest lawyers in Manhattan. When Cohn was diagnosed with AIDS and outed as a gay man, Trump abandoned him cold.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 months ago

You said he was a Cohn man?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

'Right hand man'... 😂🤣

We don't speak of what the lefties do...

When Cohn was diagnosed with AIDS and outed as a gay man, Trump abandoned him cold.

Supposedly there are conflicting stories about that. I forget the exact details but basically as I recall there are two sources, I think the switchboard operator and the secretary. One says he stopped speaking to him altogether and the other says they kept talking, Trump was the last person to speak to him before he died and all Trump did was move his legal matters to an attorney who wasn't literally dying.

Yes a quiet event because it was her style.... Or was it a quiet event because they're trying to court the LGBT conservatives while not pissing off all of the bigots in their party?

[–] [email protected] 34 points 4 months ago

¿Por qué no los dos?

[–] [email protected] 41 points 4 months ago (2 children)

How the fuck are any LGBT people pro-trump? The dude hates their existence and the party is actively trying to criminalize their lifestyle....

Oh wait, they're still only openly anti-trans, so the log cabin republicans can pretend they won't be on the block once the trans "problem" is taken care of. But surely they won't be targeted, they're one of the good ones! Just like our ol' buddy Ernst.

Yep. The rich ones want their tax cuts. They think their wealth will save them if this country goes fully fascist?

[–] OneWomanCreamTeam 4 points 4 months ago

Getting people to vote against their own interests is the Republican party's whole schtick.

[–] [email protected] 34 points 4 months ago

Log cabin MAGAs

[–] [email protected] 32 points 4 months ago

I thought she doesn't really care tho

[–] [email protected] 21 points 4 months ago (3 children)

I ate peanuts and drank a beer this morning.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 4 months ago (2 children)

Do tell, I was thinking of eggs and toast. All in all, far more fascinating than this article or its content.

I usually go for Cheerios and garlic salt, but hey, carry on!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago

In good faith: coffee, spiced rum, vanilla, cream. Sugar to taste.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 4 months ago (2 children)

King Cobra and dry roasted salted peanuts. Yeah the beer is from Anheuser Busch, but I'm not one that gets pissy whenever people change or forget their gender.

I also like feta cheese and spinach pizza, but apparently it's fried chicken tonight.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Fried chicken pizza sounds like it might be pretty tasty

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

Damn, need some pizza dough now!

Got some shredded cheese and tomato..

[–] [email protected] 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Commenting for updates on the fried chicken

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago

Welp, roommate always full of surprises. What I thought was gonna be fried chicken turned out to be fried fish.

Whatever, between that and the mashed potatoes, I got a full belly and about to go to sleep...

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Morning beer? Everything alright?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago

Forgot to drink it the night before, and I'm not exactly a coffee guy. I'm alright, I think..

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

Red chile sauce with poached eggs for me, then later a bottle of Vinho Verde. Pretty decent so far.

What would cause her to help the campaign?

She could have just faded into history and some people could have believed she was just stuck in a bad place.

But now she is choosing to go back in?

Byron is 18 now, so he will be off to college, so she won't be able to use "mothering my son" as an excuse to escape the White House if her husband wins. She will have to be around her husband all the time.

What horrible secrets is she hiding about herself that she needs her husband to win?

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 months ago (1 children)

She could make literal billions by writing a book about Donny the Orange.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

Ha-ha. "Writing."

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

I dont think she has a choice really.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 4 months ago

Felonious Trump needs money? Who knows what insanity is in the pre-nup trump made her sign. He’s gotta make his family get out there and make him money. I don’t think she’s that devious, she just rides around on trump money and probably has zero control in the relationship. She’s just a shitty human being, which most people seem to know.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 4 months ago

fake ass bitch

[–] [email protected] 9 points 4 months ago

Does nobody remember the Trump presidency arguing that organizations should be able to ban same sex couples from adopting children?

[–] [email protected] 7 points 4 months ago

What a disgusting pig of a person. Vomit

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 5 points 4 months ago

Trump's lawyers.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago (2 children)

She's so clearly doesn't want to be first lady again, which I can't blame her for really, why is she even doing this?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

So she can have private chats with them.

You guys suuuure you wanna vote for Donny? He hates gay people

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 months ago

It would force her to do Christmas. She fucking hates Christmas!

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Mr Grenell, the first openly gay member of a presidential cabinet, posted pictures of the event to his Instagram account, describing Ms Trump as “an American treasure” and “electric”.

@MELANIATRUMP  joined our dear friend former acting DNI/Ambassador @RicGrenell to announce the launch of the single most important and unprecedented gay and lesbian voter outreach initiative of any Republican presidential nominee in US political history.”

As Ms Trump charmed the crowd at Mar-a-Lago, the former president meanwhile was scheduled to attend a rally in North Carolina but had to pull out at the last minute due to poor weather conditions.

Ahead of her event on Saturday, Ms Trump gave a rare interview to Fox News Digital urging the country to “unite” as the 2024 campaign heats up and her husband faces his hush money trial in New York.

In his remarks to Fox News ahead of the Mar-a-Lago fundraiser, Mr Grenell said: “If you work hard and have a little bit of luck and God’s grace, you can do anything you want in America regardless of your skin colour, socio-economic situation, or sexual orientation.

Asked what she would be working on if she became first lady again, Ms Trump told Fox News Digital: “The safety and well-being of American families remains my top priority.”

The original article contains 858 words, the summary contains 213 words. Saved 75%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

Yeah trump has a problem pulling out when it’s stormy.

Lmao they had to throw a whole-ass event for Peter Thiel? I wonder if they ended up coming out ahead?
