There is only one trip, there will only ever be one trip. A second trip is the sign of weak fingers and poor constitution.

Plastic bags? Pathetic
my grandma would call that a lazy mans load. both ways. take to little an your to lazy to lift more. take to much and your to lazy to make multiple trips.
I live in an upstairs apartment and my garage is disconnected from the house. I'm absolutely not making multiple trips if o dont have to
Two trips doesn’t quite work out when you walked to the grocery store to begin with, unfortunately.
I just walk to the grocery store whenever I need something. Not sure what all this "multiple trips" is about.
it continues to baffle me that it's just completely normal for some people to do gargantuan shopping runs like this, i never buy more than can fit in my packpack and an extra bag..
You wouldn't do that if you lived an hour from the grocery store.
I have to walk 1 hour to get there, so I'm optimizing.
it's a cultural thing, countries that had volatile economie and grocerie pricing at some point made people buy all their necessities in bulk, since prices would literally change multiple time in the day, crazy isn't it
It's also because many Americans can't just walk/bike to the store. So it's to minimize car trips, which is a good thing.
This is why we have the wheelbarrow.
When I lived in an apartment complex where we had to park very far away, I did see a lot of tenants using small carts to carry all their groceries in at once! Seemed very smart to me!
busted fingers!
Laughs in kitchen right next to attached garage
laughs in just passing by the store on the way home from work every day
Laughs in living down a well at the end of the checkout conveyor.
That's a lot more expensive than buying in bulk.
It depends on how much you use. If you find that you're able to use everything you buy in bulk then more power to you. I tried for the longest time but found myself throwing out way more food than I felt good about.
Nowadays I only buy staples in bulk, and smaller more frequent purchases of everything else, with an intentional meal plan.
I've flown to close to the sun before. I've got time.
You will become humble if you shop at Costco. 5 or 6 trips to get everything inside.
