When you can get a resin printer for less than the cost of some of the sets, wtf were they expecting?

You wouldn't download a car...

[–] CookieJarObserver 28 points 2 years ago

Yes i would.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 years ago

Yes, everyone would.

[–] Wats0ns 4 points 2 years ago

I would 3d print a car if I could though

Only GW and their frothy fanbois think so.

Is it downloading the model or actually printing they regard a crimes?

Does it matter if it's for personal use?

They don't offer any digital files of their content, and yet they fanatically attack ANYTHING even slightly space trooper-ish (not to mention star elves, genetic/insectoid alien, corrupted version of similar, etc.), and don't seem to give a single fuck about threatening frivolous lawsuits — their bottomless pockets are enough to crush any sculptor with the stones to create in "their" genre.

Fuck GW. Print all the things!

(To make it all that much worse, they're notorious for discontinuing/banning models without notice [much less any refund] and that's not even touching on the ridiculously overpriced low-quality schlock they tout as their "style".)

Support your friendly, local 3D printer who happily takes commissions for One Page Rules compatible models. Ahem. 🤓

This is your daily reminder that it's always morally correct to pirate GW minis.

Love it. I finally binged it recently after only seeing extracts for years. Any recommendations on what to watch next besides that Mitchell and Webb look?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago (2 children)

A slightly obscure show that I really enjoyed was Johnny Vegas' Ideal.

Haha just watched an extract, that also looks deliciously British, getting great recommendations that are going on my watchlist here, thanks everyone.

Mate I'm having such a blast with this. This show is HORRIBLE haha, in the best way, love it/hate it. Thanks for the reco.

Glad you like it, always a pleasure to share.

have you seen black books or spaced?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I've seen (and adore) spaced, but not heard about black book, I'll check it out!

It's made by the same fella as the IT crowd and Father Ted. Incredibly funny - shame he's a massive transphobe though.
