I've used RedFox AnyDVD to decrypt encrypted Blu-Rays in the past, but now the trial key is tied to you system's hardware. Simply reinstalling the OS will not work. I tried using MakeMKV, that did not work. What do people use to decrypt Blu-rays?

I would try to use a vm. I don't know much about blu-ray but that should hide your hardware pretty well. You could try something qemu based for hiding it completely.

Is it a new release? Sometimes MakeMKV doesn't have the keys updated on the server for super duper new releases.
When that happens I usually have to go to FindVUK here. Then I place the keydb.cfg file in the directory MakeMKV is installed in. It should be smart enough to detect the keys locally if put in the right location and use those. The updated keys allow it to decrypt these newer disks.

could you let it run on virtual machines? i am a noob about piracy so dont have a clue

Would a virtual machine not have the same hardware signature as the host? Also I could not find a working crack. I tried an older version but it gave "The application was unable to start correctly..."

i think another person already answered but i dont think the vm copies the signature. Or even if they do there should be settings. I know that it is possible to set up windumbs 11 on a VM on a pc that does not have the tracking chip

RedFox was always the one that worked for me, I tried others & couldn't get them to decrypt. But I always wanted this but can't find it free: https://deuhd.ru/

Have you tried different MakeMKV installs?? There are a few floating around that don't work.

Going to try setting up a VM. Old versions of RedFox will not decrypt, I get a error communicating with their servers. Could never get MakeMKV to decrypt. movierescuer works but it is no longer developed.
