It's sad that this is a battle at all. Never mind who Poilievre invites to photo ops. Look at who he invites to his fundraising dinners.

This is horrifying.

Union leaders say the Conservative frontman borrows the language of the working class, but in fact poses a threat to organized labour, citing his frequent support for back-to-work legislation over 20 years in Parliament.

Yeah, no shit. If workers buy this bullshit and let pipsqueak ride them to victory, he's gonna keep riding them hard into the sunset afterwards. It's a bait-and-switch. It's tragic that the NDP is not talking to workers.

the NDP is not talking to workers

The NDP is not talking to anyone. They're basically AWOL. They don't post on YouTube. They rarely make national news (except when MPs are quitting).

I guess they were involved in pharmacare and the national daycare deal, but other than Singh periodically threatening to pull out of the pact with the Liberals, I haven't heard anything from them.

Looking at the NDP YouTube channel, their latest video is from two months ago. Looking at the Poilievre channel, there's like ten videos from the last ten days.

It isn't just picket lines and shop floors, like the article mentions. Social media allows parties and politicians to talk to people directly. If the other parties aren't doing that, they're gonna have a hard time.

"[Ax] the Tax" is a rallying cry that could have applied to every conservative administration for decades. That, and trickle-down, is kinda their entire schtick.

And the singular is AX, ya loser, unless you're Americ--oh, wait.
