Martin brews a short and shoddy stout without measuring anything. Just rough guess.

Matches my experience. You don't have to be extremely accurate. It'll all work out in the end.

I was hoping he would just eyeball it, instead of using a scoop he uses all the time and knows almost exactly how much grain it holds. Cool experiment though. It makes me want to try something like it!
