I use firefox browser in android. Still waiting for sync for lemmy to have the old reddit like experience. The existing app somehow doesn't feel like a good experience for me. I feel the browser ui is better than some apps I tried.

What did you change it to, today?

Sync for Lemmy Internal beta. It will get an open beta today after Google approves it.

Nice, looking forward to it!

My excitement is palpable

We often have questions about mobile apps and how we access Lemmy. Removing this under rule #4.

I find the browser UI to be good on both mobile and desktop. I see no reason to use anything other than Firefox. And this way I don't have to trust some third-party app with my activity data.

Iโ€™m on Lemmy world so I use voyager at m.lemmy.world

Sync for Lemmy.

It's in alpha and already better than all of the other apps (and yes, I've tried every single one available for Android).

https://vger.app/ on both phone and desktop. Not the best for mouse and keyboard but it gets the job done

I'm only on mobile, using the Liftoff app.

I always have been a computer user, almost never used apps or internet on my smartphone to go to reddit/lemmy and almost anything on the internet

Here, on Firefox, with a shortcut folder containing multiple links, one to all the instances I have an alt account on, plus few utilities Lemmy tools such as lemmyverse.net and lemmy-status.org

I also have user scripts to reduce the margin on left and right of my screen, and to replace "Communities" and "Create Post" links on the top of the page (if I'm not on one of my instances) to links to the current page on my different instances (replacing notmyinstance.com/c/community by myinstance.com/c/[email protected]), and also replacing all links it can on the pages (like finding "!community@instance" and replacing the link to one of my instances if not already a relative community link)

I use the app Connect for Lemmy. It's pretty good in my opinion

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Just regular lemmy.world and old.lemmy.world on the desktop. Connect on the cell. It all works great.

Memmy on mobile, https://alexandrite.app/ on desktop.
