Yeah everything I feared that wouldn't come in 1.0 really won't. I am also guessing controller support is not coming(same as modding support promised a bunch of times.)
I would prefer, if they would made blogs as factorio, where we always know what are they working on. Instead of keeping all this secrets and blue-balling us.

Color cartridges were an outstanding vehicle fuel. Not fully automatable, but they last a decent time. It didn't take a lot of brush clearing to end up with a supply of flowers that, after conversion to color cartridges, would run your vehicles for dozens of hours.

Like, sure. The decals shouldn't come with a cost anymore than painting the walls. I do think I'm going to miss flower petals, I'm so used to them as a minor seasoning in the game's flavor, even if all I used them for my entire 4-month Update 8 run was burn them in the biomass generators in the early game, run the Explorer on them for a little while, then pipe them straight into the sink from my Sort-O-Tron.
The fact that there are flowers everywhere in game, are those just going away? A lot of the early game flower petals I got were because I was removing them so they wouldn't stick up through the factory floor. Are we doing something about that?
