You knew as soon as Tenka claimed to be Yuuki's girlfriend, that Aoba was about to go off. Next episode has Aoba's name in the title, so I am expecting her to go off. Thankfully, they just sidelined Yuuki for this fight as he would quite literally be stuck in the middle of this one.

One thing I am not clear on is why this was necessary. I mean, Aoba clearly saw that these two squadron commanders were sympathetic to her cause. I don't think squadron commanders should really be considered cogs in the machine that have no influence. Additionally, the Supreme Commander has tried extending opportunities to negotiate. What is making them so hesitant to trust the Demon Defense Force even a little bit?

As for these humanoids, it seems like the peaches can give and the peaches can take. On the one hand, they gained powers and abilities in order to survive the sudden transport to Mato, on the other hand, they lost their humanity in the process. It makes me wonder what is different about them or the peaches they ate to react like that. Did they just lose the peach gatcha? Or, does it have to do with the circumstances in which they ate their peach, fleeing for survival, rather than in a controlled manner. More mysteries to unravel for the future.

Finally, it seems like there is a second faction of humanoids coming to crash the party. If Aoba and the gang were humans turned shuuki due to the peaches, then are these perhaps shuuki turned human (at least in form)? They are about to third-party the fight going on next episode, so we might learn more.

Hang tight Nei, I am sure everybody will be back home safe!

Perhaps peaches lose most power when harvested and sent to Earth? So if you eat it within the Mato you'll get a full blast of power, "converting" you into a Mato being. That's why Aoba and the others resemble so much the self-proclaimed gods (i.e. actual Mato beings).I wonder how this relates to the shuuki. Perhaps it's like humans and other animals?

...and of course, the reward. From Kyouka, because Tenka is simply being her perverted self.

[Tenka to Aoba] and currently going out with Yuuki

Come on Tenka, don't add fuel to the fire!

I suspect it is something like this. We haven't seen the exact process by which peaches are consumed in a controlled manner, but we do know that it is tightly controlled with layers of bureaucracy surrounding it. So, it is entirely possible that the peaches consumed in this way are toned down compared to eating them fresh from the vine so to speak.
