45 dollars!!! That’s insane, but I guess would also be a signal that the post was almost certainly an advertisement.
If I felt compelled to reward someone that much for their post, I'd rather just send them the money it would cost for the upvote instead of giving said money to reddit

Have you found a truly awful, but highly upvoted comment on reddit? Blatant misinformation? Racism, or sexism that won't not get deleted because the mods just don't care? This is the place to share and document these cases.
