Man, this episode went hard from beginning to end. It continues to be the weirdest, but most compelling combination of campy silliness and high-stakes drama. There continue to be lots of signs pointing to Smith and Bravern being remarkably similar in lots of ways. Isami even told Smith in this episode that he sounds like Bravern.

I watched this while I was eating lunch and literally choked on my food when this happened the first time:

This was not on my evil robot bingo card by any means. It doesn't seem like it was on Smith's either as he didn't really know how to process what was going on. However, seeing his companions fall one after another brought his thinking into focus and he was finally able to penetrate her armor with his TS:

I have no idea where we go from here. Smith probably isn't dead, right? He might be gone on his own storyline for a couple episodes though. Lulu is going to be a mess, I wonder if she becomes a pilot, or perhaps she will connect with Superbia, who seems to be on a meditation kick right now. Who knows?! Anything can happen in this show.

Knuth's abilities were quite frightening, and if used to their full potential make her unbeatable.

The 3 new Deathdrives spouting lines that didn't quite make sense.

I think I know where the rejects from Sirius' Cybernetics Corporation's Genuine People Personalities went...

It would be great if another Deathdrive called Marvin showed up.

Marvin! I knew that that Pessimism reminded me of another depressed robot I ran across in fiction somewhere, but I couldn't shake it out of my brain. Thank you so much for the reminder. Seems like I might need to reread Hitchhiker's Guide.
