Hey guys, the ne dof the ear is coming and I'm getting my ~~soul~~ wallet ready to buy a pair of headphones to use in my desktop, I was looking into the HD600s and the R70x(probably will go with the R70x) and I currently do not have an Amp/Dac, so do you guys have any recommendations?

I was thinking about getting either the FiiO K5 Pro Ess or the FiiO K7, but any other recommendations are welcome! Unless they're about the Qudelix 5k(can't find this in Brasil for a reasonable price) or the apple dongle.

Bummer! How much does it cost there?

I was also considering the Fiio before I got a Qudelix (which I love). A colleague has the Fiio and is quite happy with it, for what it's worth. I think either Fiio is a safe purchase.

If i somehow manage to find it from a seller that is at least 10% reputable, it's about the same as the FiiO K7 and the K5 Pro ESS(the k5 and the k7 have similar prices here in Brasil) without taxes and more than twice the price of the BTR5 without taxes.

Man, that's.... awful pricing and bizarre. Best of luck finding something sanely priced!

If battery is not a requirement, you might as well search on a used marketplace. Preferably a site where more technically inclined people sell their stuff.

If a qudelix 5k would be plenty for you, you might as well use say a fiio ka* dongle. That should get down the price quite a bit.

Schitt Audio and ifi may have good options for you too. Maybe the Schitt Hel, ifi Uno, or ifi hip-dac could fit the bill.
