I would encourage you to look at the Trust Pilot reviews for LLO DK. They are not what they used to be.

Bad advise. LLO is still any renters best bet, and avoiding them is not going to do OP any favours.
There aren’t a lot of strong alternatives that I know of.

LLO has a 1.8 rating on TrustPilot from actual users. Your Reddit opinion is more valid than all the bad experiences of people LLO didn’t help who paid for help? If a 1.8 rated company is OP’s best bet, OP is screwed.
I am only suggesting OP reads the reviews and then acts.

Theres a strong bias in trustpilot reviews since people with negative experiences are more likely to post a bad review than someone with a good experience. Coupled with a very complicated field where people think they are entitled to X which may be something that is completely outside LLOs control or ability and you have a recipe for low ratings.

So I’m a landlord. I have two strong counter arguments, which explains the low rating, and why it won’t matter to OP:
OP has a legitimate case, and wont be affected by the nature of the vast majority of those reviews.

Can the landlord take revenge?
Uh yeah, absolutely. He might be breaking some laws, but he'd still be able to do so. There's nothing guaranteeing against that.

Would you advice against filing a case?

Not at all, since you say it's clear cut. Get what is yours, but there's always a chance for revenge from greedy landlords.

My advice would be to ensure written documentation for his refusal, file the case, and if you are subjected to anything resembling harassment, file another case with LLO. Keep meticulous track of what happens and when, and store all communication, and keep it all in writing. If the landlord manages to catch you in a call, follow up with a mail confirming the phone call, with a request for the landlord to confirm as well. Do nothing without having it in writing, and make it clear to the landlord.
It might not be comfortable to be this defensive, but it protects you from potential backlash. The more you keep it professional and in writing, the less the landlord will want to act petty, because they know they will lose any case raised against them by LLO.
If your lease is time limited (they usually are, as it’s otherwise nearly impossible to evict you), then just keep in mind that it probably won’t be renewed.
