Tom, you’re an extraordinarily rare talent. You’re hilarious, insightful, and technically-minded in a way I’ve never been (don’t know if you noticed this). But more importantly, you’re hungrier and more passionate about board games than my decrepit ass. Part of knowing when to step back a little is knowing when it’s time to make room for the next generation, and it’s past time I do that.

I assume this is also so he has more time to focus on his journalism channel People Make Games? If you haven't seen his work there, and you're interested in what goes on in the gaming industry, definitely check that out.

Yeah that plus his new channel where he reviews TTRPGs.

Yo what?! Can you link that for me? That sounds amazing

Sure, it's called Quinn's Quest.

ah, shit. i really like his style.

Did he say he wasn't reviewing any longer or would now just be a contributor instead of a more active role?

He's just no longer taking part in the board game side, except the odd guest appearance. From the sound of it. He has two other projects after all, first People Make Games, and now his TTRPG reviews/recommendations.

SUSD has been falling off my radar more and more. This kind of cements it. All the games Quinns covered I love and I generally agreed with his tastes. The other guys review whackadoodle shit, which is great but just doesn’t really align with my interests any more. Sad.

That's sad. I really liked his reviews, also from things in the greater scope of (board) games.
