I know I moved off the Xbox version because it was so far behind. Heard how difficult Microsoft makes it to upload and push updates too.

Guess you just have to be an incredible success of a video game to actually get attention from them to work with you.

I am fairly certain Xbox just has much stricter testing and submission rules than other platforms. So an update that might have a certain bug can be pushed on other platforms, Xbox might not allow it through with that bug.

Microsoft doesn't make updating games some obtuse puzzle just for the sake of making updates difficult to push.

This is what happens when your game is wildly successful and already signed up for gamepass.

Microsoft are making bank here and don’t want to haemorrhage players from xbox.

Nice to see such a move from MS.

But it leaves a bitter taste.

They did the same with Larian to get BG3 onto xbox, plush extra help for bug fixes
