I'd definitely notice the cheap derailleur and brakes though.

Over 12kg heavier than my full size efat mtb
heavy, but good specs for 1400. I'd bet we could find better hardware for just a few hundred more for that sweetspot of functionality vs cost.
some of these bikes though just can't be worked on by local shops so 1400 can be too much to be on your own....
