I tried via Firefox recently. Apparently it was an adult discussion that needed age verification through their propriety app.
old.reddit.com still bypasses all that.
I think you can bypass that by requesting the desktop version, but it may have changed since I last tried to access a cat video link and got the mature content warning..

@minibyte yeah it's back up now, but I already got the answer to the question I was looking for by posting to Lemmy on a different account. If that site doesn't want my traffic, I can re-post a question, wait longer, and not burden them. ☺️
They actually replaced the upvote and downvotes with hearts the other day. Did anybody else notice that? It was likely an A/B test for valentines day or some shit like that.
