Hi everyone,

I just wanted to ask you for some information.

In your opinion, can connecting multiple switches within the same network cause problems or worsen its functioning?

I should bring connectivity to multiple computers in the same network but I only have one ethernet port in each room in the office and I was thinking of doing as follows:

  • modem connected to the first ethernet port

  • each room has a single ethernet port to which I will connect a 5-port switch so as to be able to connect 5 devices

  • I have a total of three rooms to wire this way

Can it be done without any problem?
