Recently purchased a PB 3000 and noticed it making a popping sound ( about 2 seconds into video )during the opening of Oppenheimer 4k blu ray. I had the the volume on the app set to -10 ( was calibrated at -15) and the trim in the AVR was -8 (value audyssey set) Master volume on Denon AVR was -9. Dynamic eq and volume were set to off and the sub makes this sound whether audyssey is on or off. Plugging the ports and putting it into sealed mode made the sound go away so I know it’s the ports. I’m assuming this pop is port chuffing and I’m wondering if this is normal for a PB 3000 being played at these levels. The scene is quite bassy but I thought it could handle more than this. Called SVS and they said I’m running it to loud. Anyone have any thoughts ? (Btw the other noises are the walls rattling) Thanks!
