My floorstanders (B&W 703 S3) already do a great job simulating a centre channel and give a decent whack with bass, but people say a dedicated centre makes a big difference. But I also love the feeling of sub-bass rumble & feeling the thump. So I can’t decide which would improve movie experience the most for now.

Currently my 703 are handling centre, bass and normal L/R duties.

(Does this actually boil down to if I would prefer more accurate localisation of voices on screen etc, OR feeling the rumble of sub. ?)

I will get them both eventually, but only have budget for 1 right now.
