For those of us into optical media, etc:

I notice that the lion's share of production seems to have shifted over to Asia over the past couple of decades.

This got me wondering: for those of closer to Asia than the US, is there any way of purchasing optical media directly from China etc? (If Verbatim is CMC etc ... is there really any difference?)

I'm familiar with Aliexpress but they only seem to have a couple of products (mostly Ritek stuff).

Thought I'd ask and post here on the long chance that there are other obscure marketplaces in places like Japan, Taiwan etc that might sell at the consumer / non-wholesale level.
