Hello fellow PC enthusiasts!
I recently upgraded my rig and wanted to get some opinions on whether it's worth making additional changes. Here's my current build:
-
CPU: Intel i7-9700KF (upgraded from i5-8400)
-
Mobo: Asus B360i
-
Cooler: Noctua D9L
-
RAM: Patriot Viper 2x8GB 2666MHz
-
GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra (upgraded from Colorful GTX 1070Ti Vulcan X)
-
Storage:2x1TB NVME + 1TB 2.5" 7200RPM
-
PSU: Corsair SF600
-
Case: CP3 ITX from Taobao (link: CP3 ITX Case)
I'm considering the following upgrades and would love to hear your thoughts:
-
Mobo Upgrade: Switching to a 370i or 390i. Do you think this would significantly enhance performance or provide better features compared to my current B360i?
-
RAM Upgrade: Upgrading from 2x8GB 2666MHz to 2x16GB 3200MHz. Would this boost performance noticeably, especially in gaming or multitasking?
-
Cooler Change: Considering a low-profile cooler or AIO. Any recommendations or insights on how this might impact temperatures and overall system performance?
-
Case Change: Thinking about switching to a sandwich layout case. What are the advantages and potential drawbacks? Any specific recommendations for a great sandwich layout case?
I'd love to hear your experiences and opinions on these potential changes. Feel free to share any other suggestions or upgrades you think might be beneficial for my setup. Thanks in advance for your input!
