Hey, I’m planning on building my first Small Form Factor system. Truth be told, I'm not very experienced with PC building, so I'd appreciate some tips from experienced individuals.
The configuration is based on three parameters:
- I'm aiming for a good price/performance ratio and a small form factor, although I'm aware this may result in higher component prices.
- However, I also want to play at 4k resolution as I have a nice monitor, and scaling looks bad.
- The PC should handle games like Cities Skylines 2, the next Arma, CK3, Victoria 3, Mount and Blade Bannerlord, and Manor's Lord. These aren't AAA titles, but they still demand decent performance.
Or:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
- Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i 33.84 CFM CPU Cooler
- Motherboard: Gigabyte A620I AX Mini ITX AM5 Motherboard
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory
- Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
- Case: Fractal Design Terra
- Power Supply: Corsair SF600 600 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply
- GPU: ___?
As for the GPU, I'm leaning towards an RTX 4070 (Super?) because of its efficiency.
I would really appreciate your thoughts :).
