Hey, I'm trying to finalize my plan for backups where I would like to backup one Window PC, and one Linux. Not sure how often I want to backup them but let's say monthly, on top of that I would also like to include some stuff from my phone (which won't change much, at least not monthly), and some documents (which probably needs to be backed up only once) - so with all of that needs backing up I'm really not sure how to handle it. I want to backup it all to external HDD drive and Backblaze B2. Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I would prefer not to backup whole PCs but only selected folders and files.

Should I just copy and paste it over?

Should I have some folder structure on devices where I will backup to? Separate folders for PCs? Should the old files still be there, and new backups should be done to a folder with current date as a name? Or is there a better to do it?

I've read about some software, like: FreeFileSync, Duplicati and Kopia or paid Macrium Reflect but I can't decide if any of them are worth for my use case. So please, can anybody help me decide how flow of my backups should look like exactly? I'm really at this point where I'm thinking of just copying and pasting stuff from one device to another.
