I have a large collection of photos with random filenames, many of which are of people who I know the names of. It would be too time-consuming to go through each one individually and rename it with the name of the person or people in it.
There are programs like Adobe Lightroom, ACDSee Photo Studio, and digiKam that enable one to bulk scan photos, detect faces, and then supply the software with a name for each face so that in the future, it will automatically detect and recognize the faces that it has been trained to.
However, I have yet to find any that do what I need: to allow bulk renaming the image files by appending the name of the person or persons whose faces have been detected in the image to the original filename (ideally as a prefix).
Is there any software that can do this?
