Does ohms law apply to transformers? (zerobytes.monster)

Ohms law states that voltage and current are directly proportional to eachother (increasing one will increase the other because V=IR and I=V/R) but when it comes to transformers, increasing voltage from the primary coil to secondary coil decreases voltage, does ohms law not apply? Why not?
