Just made another batch of my favourite burger buns. I use this recipe from King Arthur Baking.

An update: I didn't have eggs. I usually substitute with milk when this happens, but I also didn't have any milk. I tried sour cream this time and I might forget the eggs and always make these with sour cream. They are still soft today!
