I don't see anything wrong with upvote or down vote. I don't think that's a reddit specific thing. I'm voting, and that's an up arrow.

There's nothing wrong with simple upvote/downvote. The best alternative is thumbs up/down.

No, no no. This community existed long before us redditors showed up and I'm all for adopting a new community but let's use the terms that have been here for years instead of showing up and taking over the place. There's no Sublems, Sublemmys, uplems or downlems. There are communities, upvotes, and downvotes. This site has been around for years, we've been here less than a week. Stuff like this is why Beehaw and others are defederating. Adapt to your new home, don't try to force those kind enough to take us in to adapt to us.
