I nominate I-80 in Illinois or I-70 in eastern Colorado. Crossing the border from Kansas to Colorado is like "holy f- OW I BIT MY TONGUE"

Michigan. We spend roughly a third of what other Midwest states spend, and we have the highest weight allowance for big rigs. We have roads that the Cities, Counties, and State fight over who is responsible while they crumble.

You can tell the moment you get onto Michigan highways. We are building more lanes when we can afford to maintain the ones we have.

There's a section of 696 in metro Detroit that was wavy for at least 10 years. I think they finally fixed it a few years ago.

In a car with poor suspension, you could have easily given a back seat passenger a concussion.

80 sucks, but 55 is worse, especially between 80 and 355. Haven’t seen so many cars with flat tires on the shoulder due to potholes anywhere else.

90 between the Illinois/Indiana border and 65 is a close second. I can’t remember a time when it was not under construction.
