because a few days ago a helpful redditor told me everything I needed to know about joining Lemmy and the instances etc, and it is all gone.๐Ÿ˜ก

Thankfully I made it over here anyway, but I wanted to copy and paste what he told me to share it with someone else who I want to migrate over here too.

A lot of people are nuking their reddit accounts. Doesn't mean Reddit's the one doing it.

I think this is the answer. A lot of people are using tools like shreddit to wipe their accounts clean.

Someone should just make a lemmy101.com or Fediverse how-to site that includes some of these really easy to digest diagrams and explanations
