at least I don't buy stupid things, I buy comfort food and things I urgently need but can't afford. okay the comfort food is a stupid thing to buy but it's like an addiction like some people are addicted to heroin. What am I addicted to? comfort food.

That whole buying things I need is how I reigned in my manic spending habits. Wasted enough money on stupid things I wanted for no reason only to get bored of them and move onto obsessively planning out bigger purchases and how they would improve my day-to-day life, while making a game of the savings and otherwise entertaining myself with the useless shit I already bought.

I literally can't afford to buy anything aside from what I absolutely need, last month I thought I was going to live in New Mexico so I bought three pairs of shoes to get me through winter in New Mexico, hiking and rain and cozy boots. And I absolutely needed new shoes because barefoot lifestyle my feet have spread out and all the normal shoes are severely injuring my feet so I had to buy a certain brand of shoes to replenish my entire shoe wardrobe,

anyway bipolar me

I spontaneously ended up moving to California so I needed three entirely different pairs of shoes to deal with different environment here, sun/sand, running, and shoes for work, yep needed three entirely new pairs of shoes for that. So in 2 months I spent $600 in shoes and I literally had to use a credit card for that.

It's going to take me a while to pay off that credit card. that's total up to $1800 now 🤦‍♀️
