It had this? I never knew! This sounds really useful

It did! It was amazing, I could scroll past stuff I didn't care for and I'd never see it again.
Aaaaand itβs here. Lol they are fast.
Yeah, I want this too. Now I need to swipe left every post to hide it. Apollo did this automatically indeed, which was a very nice feature.
+1. This was one of my favorite Apollo features! Swiping to hide is a bit weird. Makes the feed feel like a to do list.
Exactly. I hate actively doing that, it's really irritating
I use the hide function. I sorely miss it here.
An alternative suggestion:
Apollo allowed me to set a swipe gesture to: Hide all above
This a you to swipe, and all the posts above that one would be hidden. It made for very efficient scrolling, and itβs probably the one feature I have yet to find in any of the many Lemmy apps Iβve tried
It's still something that the user has to do actively, which imo makes the user experience worse.
I hear you. I think the point is that it would be great to have these choices, as in Apollo
Precisely, the more options the better!

Anything that stops me from seeing the same posts every time I open the app would be nice. It feels like I have to scroll past 50+ old posts before I start seeing new content, and that's every time.
I don't know if it's something to do with Voyager, or if it's a Lemmy issue, I just know that it's annoying.
