Have you tried the sobr shop that opened on academy?
Might be worth a call.

Secondary reply, only so it hits your inbox. I visited their store, and that's a very interesting little business. They've got a little tasting bar at the back, and I tried a couple of faux-tequilas and bought a bottle. It's funny - I got into the car afterwards and had that burning sensation in my mouth like I'd just lined up three shots of tequila at the bar, except I was good to drive! Such are the interesting effects of the spices they used.
They had one brand of bitters, just not the one I wanted. Nevertheless, I really appreciate the recommendation. Certainly our DD will appreciate it too, being able to participate in our cocktail night :)
Just checked their website, at your prompting, and they have some small batch bitters. Like this one: https://www.thesobrmarket.com/collections/all-the-bitter/products/all-the-bitter-classic-bitters-trio
I think I might give it a shot.
Also looking for some unusual liqueurs -- like "licor 43" -- and wondering if any shops have specialty stuff like that, above and beyond what Liquormart stocks.
Things I've found so far:
https://patent5.ca/product-category/bar-supplies/
https://kenastonwine.com/collections/cocktail-supplies
https://thepourium.com/collections/bitters-cocktailing -- they have a specific bitters I was seeking: Fee Brothers!
Couple interesting liqueurs here: https://www.ellementwine.ca/ -- but not what I need...
Found the nearest bottle of Licor 43 -- in the LCBO in Keewatin (Kenora) -- how serious am I about this cocktail ingredient list, I wonder...
Final edit: Grant Park Liquormart once again comes through with unlisted items. I know they've done this for others in the past, but I didn't expect it. Licor 43 is unlisted and also available. If you're looking for weird stuff, try there! The staff told me: "a case was ordered because one of our licencees requested it". Nice!
this place looks promising? https://thepourium.com/collections/bitters-cocktailing
Indeed it does - they have one of the things I was specifically looking for: Fee Brothers Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters
This is a De Luca's spinoff, if I understand correctly.
it looks that way? I've never actually been there myself, just found it doing a search.
