Success in tournament competition requires a lot of luck. The number of matches we have to play to get to the trophy is relatively small, but so is the chance to make up for one mistake. I really don't know why people ask for difficult opponents. Real Madrid, Bayern or City are the ones we're going to play anyway if we go deep in the competition.

Obviously Zinchenko's defensive weakness is a real thing, with his lapses of concentration, but...
Is there merit in creating a fake weakness? Make the opponents think there is something to exploit and so they don't just low block us the whole game. Wonder if a manager has ever tried this
Happy for Martin that he had a great game again yesterday, not just with the goal but his passing as well. Should be good for his confidence, and having him in form is huge for our attacking play.
i thought trossard did very good yesterday at left 8. was very creative and aggressive defensively but he should finish those chances

Every time I watch a United game I get reminded that we could have easily been a club just like them if Mikel hadn't come in... we had the same issues with overpaid players who downed tools, had terrible attitudes and disrespected the manager. Mikel has completely changed the atmosphere around our club. I really hope that we will win tons of trophies under him, and even if we fall short I will always be proud of our manager and our team because they play for the badge and give it their all
