I’ve just finished a Diploma for Nursing, which was 18 months long, but the application prior to being accepted into the course took a good few months up of my life- so it’s taken priority for last two years.

For those of you who are not familiar with studying nursing, you undertake many unpaid hours of work experience within the hospital to gain experience.

Now that I’ve finished my degree, I’m in debt, ($2500), my health has suffered (was unable to make daily gym sessions as previous, was unable to afford the diet I had, and also found out I need surgery soon), my apartment is cluttered and filthy (I live alone and have been unable to have energy to continue my cleaning schedule). Everything has fallen apart during this course, but hey- now I have a qualification!

I am on a break for a few months until I decide my next step for my career, and would like some advice on how to proceed.

I’m mentally and physically burnt out, so I am lost on how to recover. I’ve always been a typically goal orientated and disciplined person but now that my routine is over and my goals which I had been working towards for the last few years met, I am floundering.

Does anyone have any advice or have you experienced anything similar? Pleas let me know :)
