Glad for the scoreline against lens but do you guys think Arteta is right to use Raya for the cup?

The guy has been a good player, great attitude and signed a 5 year with us.

He cant play a CL game against lens? Mus be totally demoralising

He needs to leave.

Raya must be better than Eddie Nketia in training to go from Brentford to this.

I have not gotten over yasus crosses from yesterday.

Random but damn, had no idea Suella Braverman supported Spurs. Makes a little bit of sense.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Does she actually support them though? Or is she just another toff that tries to fit in with the poors by saying they like football.

Why do I feel like PGMOL is going to even the score of bad calls against wolves at our expense on Saturday?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Been very happy with Super Tom, I’m praying and hoping he can stay fit throughout the campaign

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

This season is important for him.

He is a good player, good enough to edge into WC territory if he can stay fit.

By the summer, i will draw up a final opinion on him and the only negative is his injury record and he could work on his crossing

He got all of those in one game against Bournemouth. Hate how easy it is for other players to be rated while we need to wait for Arsenal to win every trophy for ours to be considered good.

"hurr durr Doku dribbles against Bournemouth he's better than Martinelli"

"hurr Garnacho bycicle kick he's better than Martinelli"

Winds me up.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

The dribbles past stat is a misleading. Last week Trent got dribbled past "7" times, but only 2 to 3 of those actually gained an advantage.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We could get the next Doku now citeh is sorted.

anyone wanna post the vid of Ramsdale picking off pieces from the Christmas tree at the club?

Who do you see as our next upgrades? If we win the league, we’ll go all out for a superstar striker like Osimhen. I think Zinchenko might be upgraded as well. I’m still not convinced by our keeper situation but unlikely we change Raya for a couple of seasons at least, in which time he can prove himself to be at this level.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I think top 4 and a deep CL run is what we can get with the squad. Were short on reliable players who can be fit and avaialble.

We need a less injury prone striker. If its a short king Aguero who is prolific great.

But the profile we are missing is a tall, fast playmaker CF like Giroud

The striker market is a bit dry imho. So maybe sirgussey, gorekeys or wilfred boney could be good signings. There not worth more than 40-50m. Ivan Tony for 35m

The center of the park needs an injection of youth and quality. I see elnneny, ESR, viera and jorge as potential out goings.

I like Evertons Onana but the market is rich with options.

We need a kimmich type as well.

Any leaks for the Ian Wright x Adidas merch?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

At least our lineup and performance yesterday will put to bed the theory that Arteta was starting Jorginho for our ball progression instead of defensive security. It just never made sense considering the fixtures Jorginho started which were out of choice rather than necessity due to injuries.

Also, Havertz was good yesterday but it's not because he was playing the role of a second phase midfielder. Rather it was Odegaard who did it - one of the few times he's played the role this season, with the other times being against PSV, Lens away, and Bournemouth to a lesser extent. Odegaard's touch maps in these fixtures were incredible, almost box-to-box like instead of being usually stuck next to Saka playing 1-2's.

Solid recruitment. They found a Kocku almost instantly.

Saw the news of the Man City charges verdict might not be decided until 2025.. when Pep's contract is up anyways. Could they just deal with charges piece by piece? Like take 3-4 charges they 100% can prove, dish out 10 point penalty immediately. It seems insane you have charges hanging over you for 3 seasons without penalty and then maybe one season you get 40 point deduction. City can literally just cheat as much as they want and have success, then take a season off where they won't get CL and then back on the horse again. How is that a penalty?

Even if the penalty in 2025 was demotion to League 2. Why the fuck are they allowed to continue like nothing happened? I get that there is due process and there is a protocol but this would be like a sprinter took so much drugs, it was difficult to prove for sure which he had in his system. So he was just allowed to compete for 3-4 years and go to the Olympics while it was being investigated, then they win gold and when it's proven, they say ok you can't compete for one year now :)

Rice only scores in the big games. Booking it in early for December 23rd.

Raya has silently kept 7 clean sheets in his 12 appearances for Arsenal. He looks way more confident on the ball than he did a month ago too

Just saw the manager of the month nomination on twitter and just focusing on the result. Then i saw 1 manager have a result of 1 win, 1 draw, and 1 lose, suddenly thinking "why tf this result is on manager of the month nomination, surely there's someone better". Then i looked the team, its luton town, and I'm like "oh yeah he deserve it"

i still have nightmares about how open we were back then, it was like watching man utds defending in the champions league

Saka has 17 G/A in 19 games this season in all comps. He got 27 G/A in all comps last season.

We're only a third of the way through the season and he is already charging towards his insane haul from last season.

Starboy is so so special man

Hope Newcastle and ManU are scouting hard right now.

Europa is calling, dickheads.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Is there a way to rewatch the cbs sports golazo elisodes with big meeks, carragher and Henry? Always looks like such a blast haha.

Edu saw Tomi’s first half performance yesterday and said 絶対的な獣はどれくらい欲しいですか?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

ferguson hype mystifies me. i know he's had his moments, but more often than not he looks anonymous. he doesn't get on the end of a ton of chances and his hold-up and link-up play have long way to go. i know he's got a flamethrower, but so do a lot of players. cant help but think someone is going to dump £120m on him for the next andy carroll.

I didn't even realise that some teams had Europa games today, and I'm so glad we don't have to play that shit.
