I want Newcastle and United to end up in the EL, 5 English teams in the same european competition would be chaos.
The Arsenal
Thomas Partey is “Player X” with allegations matching his kit number:
The BBC would know all about unpunished sexual allegations
As much as his performances for us last season were top quality I would rather see him move on at this point. He's already spent half his arsenal career injured and we've always got these allegations hanging over him/the club - we need to move on.
Great article
can't stand this, i need partey out by january. make room for another dm, who can play more than 10 games a season.
Eric Doesn’t Shag with another all time top CL manager performance, things you love to see. Give me Gala/Copenhagen in the R16, need to show them how it’s done.
Yesterday was just the fucking best. Got to witness an Onana disasterclass then the boys absolute batter some poor Uber Eats team. Wonder how long the Lens fans were kept in the stadium after they decided to chuck flares into the home end
How is Onana so error prone? He single handedly cost his team at least 2 CL games
And the Bayern game
His passing ability could rival Ederson's but man doesn't have a strong wrist from what I hear, so he always try to parry shot instead of grab the ball or just nudge it out. Also he doesn't come out of the box and gave the opp striker a much wider shooting angle.
Was at the match so not sure if this has been mentioned but did the TV coverage talk about the Lens fans throwing a flare up into Club Level and it hitting someone?
Nope, didn't say anything about it on BT/TNT. Did seem lively their end though, could have sworn I saw a couple of bits getting chucked at Jesus when he celebrated near them, but could be wrong. I think Zinchenko pulled Martinelli away from them during his celebrations too.
It was briefly mentioned but no footage.
Overlaps are back in fashion 😍

If we ever play a back line of Tomi, White, Timber and Kiwior, who will play centre, right back and left back? Like you could play any combination.
Seeing Villa start an internet rivalry with spurs in the aftermath of the Matty Cash incident is so funny, what’s even better is they’re falling for it.
But man that was way too close to being us, thank god for Arteta
So does anyone reckon Arsenal might actually make a punt at Mbappe? My initial thought was a hard no but after the Osimhen news, we're clearly more ambitious than I thought. I mean there's no harm in trying right?
I've seen a lot of users here comment on how teams play the nastiest low block against us but come out to press other teams. Here's a comment from the subreddit of another team:
"Looking at that Bellingham goal against Napoli, as well as other teams against each other in the prem, always puzzles me.
Why does everyone press us at 100km/hr, while they just park the bus and play at pedestrian pace against the other top clubs?"
Me personally, I'd rather be on this end of the aisle.
What you prefer out of those two depends on the squad you have, for us we definetly want them pressing us, with Raya now we have at least the second most press resistant back line in the world. 95 times out of 100 we’ll just play through them and get a dangerous attack going.
That said I do remember in the Emery days and all the way up until last season with Arteta I was a bit jealous of City in how teams just sat back. When we were playing it out with Leno, Luiz and Mari that felt easier
Having been at the game last night - I hope Lens get a serious fucking fine for their away fans last night. I was in the North Bank so was on the opposite side but when they started firing flares into the home sections that was fucking shameful. Did they show/mention this on the TV coverage? Also hearing reports they were tearing up the seats later on but couldn't see them doing that from where I was sat.
How do people even get that many flares into the ground?! I know the patdowns are fairly performative at least in the home end but surely it can't be hard to stop people bringing in what must have been bags of them?
White is class, but Tomi is at another level lately.
Finally my luck has turned a bit, bagged a Wolves ticket on the exchange!
I hope Tomi can stay heathy and get his new deal worked out: he's such a good piece in the squad for us.
Being able to choose a fullback set between any two of Zina, White, and Tomi at any given moment is a luxury I would love to see Arteta enjoy for a good long while.
