I know we tend to romanticize how far we've come as a club but it shouldn't be at the cost of facts. The players not good enough from that is Ospina, Mustafi, that version of Xhaka and maybe arguably Walcott.

The others were all very good players. It could be argued that Giroud was frustrating but certainly not awful or anything.

It's still not a team good enough to challenge for EPL or UCL honours but the club had been under performing for a while and I personally a lot of it is due to the old coaching and management approaches. The departure of Wenger was needed to let the club move forward.
