Almost half a billion spent on Antony, Sancho, VDB, Maguire, Onana, Mount, and Casemiro

Seeing Havertz using flair to beat a man has left tears in my eyes, he’s coming back

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I just realised Sevilla practically won't even make Europa. All Europs teams can take a massive sigh of relief.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If they beat lens they will. They always find a way

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

my next agenda is jakub kiwior btw. that guy is a baller.

Saliba is the most improved player in the squad this year and that’s scary because he was very, very good last season. He’s world class now.

Kai Havertz finally showing that ability to make the left 8 role his own. Before he opened the scoring tonight he already missed a good chance, he made a key pass before the Saka goal and also excellent ball retention. MOTM for me tonight.

Tomiyasu was magnificent. Only played half the game but managed two sublime assists and really should have had a third (Havertz headed inches wide from his cross)

Gabriel Jesus for me continues to show why we should only buy a #9 if a proper world class option like Osimhen is available. The idea of swapping this guy for an Ivan Toney is laughable.

We are going to be spoiled for choice in defence when Timber comes back. We’ve got four top quality full backs, Saliba and Gabriel in the middle of course and then a really useful utility man in Kiwior.

Martinelli looks back after not great form recently.

Only slight regret is not getting a look at Nwaneri or MLS. Hopefully they start in Eindhoven.

Bloody hope Ipswich keep up the good form. Seeing Leicester, Leeds and Southampton in the top 4 in championship- it’ll be boring seeing the same sides come up again.

Makes me think the gap between championship and premier league is growing. However, Ipswich going for back to back promotions is going against that theory

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

And these three teams are miles better than the three that came up this season. These three teams have the ability to upset bug teams at times.

We are coming up to the 4 year anniversary next month of Arteta being appointed coach. It's absolutely mad to think on everything that's happened since. Arteta must feel like he has a ironclad bond to us now and vice versa.

I desperately want him to seal his legend status by winning us either the PL/CL. I genuinely can't think of anyone more deserving currently of being our first post-Emirates legend.

My 2023 sound town on Spotify was Islington. How good

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Also Saka is our Messi. I will never stop saying it because it's true. His impact and now his inevitability is Messi-esque. Even on a quiet game the boy can mess shit up. That second goal was insane determination from him.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Why am i only seeing this now lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We need to study why Jesus is dramatically better in UCL than he is in PL.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Don’t want the matchup in the next round but Rice vs Bellingham midfield battle would be incredible to watch.

Feel like Rice and our CB’s are one of the few that may be able to β€˜slow’ the lad down a touch.

the chelsea tax is just devastating. this bloom into an arteta-trained b2b midfielder is gonna be scary

I would love RB Leipzig in the RO16, or hopefully Inter win next week and we could get Sociedad. I don't want to get Porto or an Italian team, even though we'd probably beat them, their away stadium atmosphere is a lot more intense. I'd love Copenhagen, but that would be too easy, want someone with a bit more substance. If we get through, I would love Real Madrid, feel like we could genuinely beat them.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Nope give me the absolute shittiest team available every single round. I wanna see my damn club win the thing before i die. We can chase the glamour ties when we`ve won it a few times.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Zinny pulling fast gabi back from the way fans. Should have just let him go haha.

Arsenal have won 7 penalties in 20 games in all competitions so far. With 25 league games to go and a conservative estimate of 8 more CL games and 6 FA cup games, we can expect to receive another 14 penalties.

Sadly this doesn't give us enough penalties to allow every member of the squad to receive a pity penalty, so who are the players that will miss out on this crucial morale booster over the course of the season? Will talented youngsters leave the club over being frozen out? How much can be tacked on to a goalkeeper's transfer value if he scores away at Bristol Rovers in the cup 3rd round? Will Arteta selfishly register himself in January to get in on the action?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

No big clubs give chance to "Talented Youngsters" if their senior players are all playing well and there is no injury crisis. Giving time to young players isnt a luxury big teams can afford. Its a necessity when situation demands. And we dont really have a world class prospect like Musiala or Saka currently. Are you Lee gunners in disguise?

Alright what are we thinking if we did a huge rotation for psv?

Ramsdale Walters tomi (cb) kiwi (cb) zinna esr (rcm) jorgi Kai (lcm) Reiss Eddie nwaneri

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

ESR won't be fit and how dare you not include the greatest egyptian of all time...and Cedric.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Elneny is a good shout. Who for RCM

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

------------Eddie
Nelson-------------Cozier-Duberry
------Nwaneri-----Elneny
------------Jorginho
Sousa--Gabriel--Kiwior--Cedric
------------Ramsdale

Sub out Jorg for a Lewis-Skelly at some point, Eddie out for Sagoe Jr, and Gabi for Walters.

This is my most biased opinion - I dont care for Raya, I hope we don`t sign him. My heart wants Ramsdale to be our #1 and the England #1.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

We have no choice even if he sucked.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I can smell Atletico finishing second in that group and us getting them

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Oh fuck no please

Our depth is somehow much better this season despite a worse injury situation.

Also with respect to champions league I can’t believe what I am seeing. We did pretty bad in Europe last year and now it’s a totally different story

United could've signed Ziyech and they ended up with Antony 😭

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Onana, whats his name, Onana, whats his name!

What a player! πŸ˜‚

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It really is just so satisfying to see what happens when teams actually try to play the sport of football against us lol

Sooner rather than later we're going to be able to perform like this against teams that park the bus too - we're so back

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

The sub used to be #6 in soccer. Now it shows #3 right below the soccer and EA sports subs. We are gargantuan!
