I was an alcoholic for a large portion of my 20’s, currently 27 and 51 days sober now after a breakup where I caused it from my alcoholic nonsense.

I feel really good about where I am, and better about where I’m going, but often I am just so depressed and kicking myself over what could’ve been, and what if. Losing a large portion of my 20s really sucks, losing a woman I really liked suck, and all of these things that happened because of my own nonsense really creates a pit of self hatred.

How do I, not necessarily completely eliminate these thoughts, but at least lessen them?
